Field Upkeep After Usage

This is very important.  We must do our best to keep with our field maintenance after every practice and game in the spring, summer, and fall.

This is a check list of actions that need to  be taken:

  1. rake mound – wet down with hose – and tamp rubber area and landing spot – cover with tarp
  2. rake batter area, catcher area, and umpire area – wet down and tamp
  3. brush back sliding dirt by each base – 1st, 2nd , and 3rd – wet down with hose
  4. rake base paths and wet down
  5. clean all garbage

If we do these things the field will be softer and easier to play on in the future.  I know the field is not perfect but I am doing my best to keep field in good condition – these things are what you can do to help.

thanks
