Tomorrow after school at 2:30 =Baseball work out. Pitchers will throw … you will all take a few swings and be done in one hour. Make sure you have your updated physical paperwork into athletic office.
On Thursday after the second exam in room 413 there will be a quick meeting to discuss summer baseball -summer workouts and the two teams in our Summer league. Teams will be divided equally and be coached by myself and other HS staff members on a rotating basis.

To Joe Piscopo for being named to the all B North team. Joe batted 440 with 34 hits- A NEW SCHOOL RECORD.
Adam Elliott who was named to the all B North team as a Utility player. Adam batted 348 and went 6-3 on the mound with a 1.81 era.
The Husky magic came to an end at Robbinsville with a 2-0 loss. Nick Santuccio pitched a great game going 6 innings giving 2 runs on 6 hits. The Husky offense had few chances and some bad luck along the way.
The Huskies finished 14-10.

Sophomore Adam Elliot pitched a five-hitter and the Huskies scored three times over the final two innings to top the Chargers and advance to the sectional semifinals against the winner of Saturday’s game between No. 7 Manchester and No. 2 Robbinsville. According to Matawan coach Bobby Carnovsky, this is Matawan’s first trip to a sectional semifinal since 1993.
Elliot allowed one unearned run while walking one and striking out eight to improve to 6-3. Matawan struck first on a 2 out rbi double Justin Henderson. After Spotswood tied the game,Matawan took the lead on a two-out RBI single by Joe Piscopo in the top of the sixth that plated courtesy runner Makel Caldwell, who scored two runs while running for catcher Cory Nusbaum.
Nusbaum also plated Matawan’s fourth run with an RBI ground out in the top of the seventh, which followed an RBI single by Nick Smith. Justin Henderson gave Matawan a 1-0 lead with an RBI double in the top of the fourth before Spotswood tied it with an RBI single by Ryan Walker in the bottom of the inning.
