After 3 losses to CBA, SJV, and RFH, the Huskies got back on track with a convincing 13-3 win over Shore.
Jake Burlew, again gave the Huskies a solid start and earned his first varsity win after 2 other good performances. Jake pitched a complete game scattering 7 hits giving up 2 runs, 1 earned. Burlew also collected 2 more hits to help the Huskies offensively.
Matawan was led by Tom Collazo who continued his Tori’s stretch of hitting collecting 4 hits, a double, scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Mike Trapani had 2 hits and 3 RBI and Jackson Hercek added 3 hits and an RBI.
