The Huskies picked up a much needed victory over Neptune by a score of 7-3.

Chris Gendi pitches his second consecutive complete game victory for the Huskies scattering 3 runs over 7 innings adding 2 hits and run scored as well. Griffin Falco has a double and a sac fly RBI. The Matawan offense worked hard all game extending at bats, fouling off pitches and creating runs against a good Neptune club.

Game on Monday will be played at Neptune HS

The Huskies bounced back to defeat Colts Neck by a score of 7-2. Chris Gendi threw a gem – complete game victory giving up one earned run and striking out 6 cougars. Gendi did it at the plate as well with 3 hits. Griffin Falco add a hit and an rbi as did Nick Trapani and Christian Rivera.

We just got the call – As of 8:15 – Colts Neck called off their games

The Huskies staged a huge top of the 7th inning to defeat SJV 5-4. Jay Kalieta led off with an infield hit followed by RBI doubles by Jackson Hercek and Griffin Falco which started the 4 run rally. Danny Hirojo earned his 3rd win in relief of starter Tim Egan who threw 5 strong innings striking out 7. Hirujo got out of a second and third and 1 out situation with the tying and winning runs on base by inducing a pop up and line out to win the game.
